Ever since we started over 20 years ago, our passion has been a more realistic experience. Milsim is often used to describe this but we know that’s really 23 hours of nothing, 55 mins of getting ready for a scrap and 5 mins of actual scrapping!
Back in 2007 having been told our brand was too small to co-host a milsim, we did our own. Tora Bora 1 based in the Bunker, Tora Bora 2 in the Bunker and Fort above, followed by Tora Bora 3 and 4 held at the peak MOD Bramley Training Area.
A change of theatre led to Tora Bora being changed to Total Battle. We have the domain names for both Totalbattle and Battlesim although we sold the dotcom to a Russian startup game developer who are now millionaires duh!
We ran TB 5 as Operation Semiramis, a 24 hour Nimrod inspired counter terrorism game, held at the Virus, repeated with TB 6.
TB 7,8 and 9 were held at mighty Sandpit, from anti poaching to anti drug smuggling, watching a drug laden boat drone run out of battery and drift off into the lake was hilarious.
TB 10 moved to GreenOps, with a border excursion.
We intend to relaunch Tottal Battle as a standalone event series rolling between our venues, using exclusive areas this Spring.
